Old Path Church

Guiding Lives with Faith and Compassion

Old Path Church nurtures faith and community through heartfelt worship, outreach, and steadfast belief. We are led by Overseer Glen E. Dortch, a devoted pastor and gifted musician who has played bass for over 47 years.

He and his wife, Missionary Edwastene Benton-Dortch, have been married for over 33 years and faithfully serve our church family. In addition to ministry, Overseer Dortch has worked as a diesel mechanic for 35 years and remains active in that field — a true example of diligent service and humility.

Glen’s journey began as a young bassist in his church. In 1989 he began serving Old Path Church under the leadership of the late Administrative Assistant Charles H. Benton, taking on roles including Deacon, Chairman of the Deacon Board, Chairman of Finance, Minister, Elder, and Minister of Music.

He later served as District Minister of Music and was ordained an Elder at Old Path. In 1999 he was appointed Assistant Pastor by the late Superintendent Benton, and in 2009 was appointed Pastor of Old Path.

In 2022 he was consecrated as Overseer by Bishop Richard Patterson of The Elect of God Fellowship Churches.
